Michael Sta. Maria Runway LAFW LA Fashion Week 2016

Manila based designer Michael Sta. Maria debuted his designs at LAFW La Fashion Week 2016. He worked his way up from representing the Philippines at Mercedes-Benz Stylo Asia Fashion Week in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and in the U.K’s Scotland Fashion Showcase in November 2015. Goth as well as galas inspired the fall 2016 collection. His designs incorporate mostly black and gold. Long sleeves and high necklines characterize his gowns with sheer mesh and netting with floral appliqués.
